The 128th Canton Fair is staging its cloud exhibition from Oct 15 to 24 to help foreign trade companies, especially traditional ones, reach more customers across the world.

At the ongoing event, exhibitors can demonstrate their products and themselves in multiple online forms, including pictures and videos, by taking advantage of 3D and virtual reality technologies.

In pursuit of a fruitful fair, organizers launched a series of services and training for exhibitors in advance of the event.

One such service included three video training programs, offered in late September. It aimed at guiding exhibitors to compile exhibition information, make pictures and videos and cultivate internet marketing awareness.

“The series of services have greatly improved our exhibition arrangement efficiency at this Canton Fair. In previous sessions, it had taken us one to two months to prepare, but we just spent 20 days this year,” said Dong Changhe, general manager of Shanghai Ebasee Electric.

“Thanks to the training videos, our salespeople can become skilled in operators of the cloud exhibition platform in just one day. The platform makes it much more convenient for us to invite customers to our booth,” Dong said.

To further improve exhibitors’ sense of gaining and satisfaction, the 128th Canton Fair has further improved its cloud services by optimizing its online settlement ports of intellectual property protection and trade disputes.

The improved services at the fair have impressed Dong, who said the exhibition guidelines are highly detailed and include targeted video and graphic explanations. Customer service representatives are not only quick to reply, but also meticulous in solving each problem.
