“Having attended many sessions of Canton Fair, I can feel that the fair and the enterprises have been growing together, “said Yan Zhenli, International Marketing & Sales Director of Huida Group in the 124 th session of Canton Fair.

From 1998 to 2018, Huida Group has exhibited in Canton Fair for 40 sessions in a row. During the past twenty years, the fair has maintained a momentum of vigorous development.

“In the beginning, there were not many exhibitors. Since 2001, Canton Fair has attracted more and more attendees from developed countries and experienced constant upgrade,” said Yan.

According to statistics, every session of Canton Fair receives around 200,000 buyers. 20 years ago, the number only reached 70,000. “I also participate in many overseas exhibitions, but Canton Fair is still the most charming one where buyers from all across the world gather.”

According to Yan, Canton Fair is a platform for Chinese companies to build brand images. If the companies want to develop their own brands, they need to be persistent. It can be hard at the beginning, but if they carry on good results will come eventually.

In fact, there is an evident trend in the recent sessions: Chinese exhibitors are striving to improve their product portfolio, develop self-owned brands and IPR, and enlarge the booth space for new technologies and new products.

“In the past, overseas brands were preferred. But with our efforts in recent years, Chinese brands have gradually formed their own brand images”. When Huida Group made their debut in Canton Fair in 1998, the transaction volume was less than 1 million USD. But now, the company has a yearly export volume of 150 million USD. “Starting from a small unknown factory in China, Huida has seen rapid growth,”Yan said.

In recent years, Huida Group keeps upgrading. It used to focus on the export of bathroom ware. Now it targets both the international market and domestic market, providing comprehensive bathroom solutions to consumers. In the future, smart technology will help Huida Group overtake on the corner. “With the implementation of the Belt and Road Imitative and the deepening of Reform and Opening-up, Huida Group has a promising overseas business.”

“Next we will start from upgrade, including the upgrade of R&D, product, quality and management. Meanwhile, we should increase our capability to build a stronger reputation and influence,” said Wang Yanqing, General Manager of Huida Group in the Canton Fair International Trade Development Forum.
