The 127th Canton Fair has attracted a large number of overseas buyers since its online opening on Monday.

Vincent Samia Muruba is an employee from Samiahtech Enterprise, aKenyan company more than 8,000 kilometers away from Guangzhou.

Since early in the morning, he has been sitting at his desk and clicking his mouse to search for information about the fair.

Without any time limitations, cross-border travel costs or jet lag, he can watch the exhibitions online and negotiate with the business partners as usual. This is totally new experience for him.

"I'm looking for electronics, lighting and auto parts products," he said.

After few days' research, Hefei Dobon Electricals caught Muruba's attention.

As a company engaged in producing electrical appliances and components, switches and circuit breakers, it has a rich production line and high-standard product design.

The company also has sales experience in African markets. Muruba decided to further communicate with the company and get more information about their product and price.

Vladimir Eremin is the general manager of Russia's EL-Delta Trading Company Ltd. Like Muruba, Eremin is also learning about some online operations such as searching information, making an appointment of negotiation and inquiring about orders as he attempts to accustom himself to the online Canton Fair.

Every year, EL-Delta Trading buys daily consumer goods and small household appliances from China valued between $1.5 million and $2 million.
