Behind the scenes inspection of online operations

Zhang Xin, deputy director-general of the Canton Fair and vice-governor of Guangdong province, visited the operational center for the Canton Fair on June 15 to learn about services for the event.

Accompanying Zhang were Zheng Jianrong, chief of Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce; deputy secretary-generals of the event Xu Bing, Ye Jijiang, Zhou Shanqing and Zhuang Hong; as well as other officials.

Zhang watched a demonstration on how to operate the Canton Fair’s official website as well as other operational and safety platforms.

The official said the website and platforms’ operators have successfully prepared for an online Canton Fair, which is being held according to national requirements for the prevention and control of COVID-19.

He called on staffers at the center to work to a higher standard and ensure a successful online event in the 10 days to come.
