Exhibitors at the ongoing 128th China Import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, are poised to secure more orders, as they become familiar with “cloud exhibitions” and are more prepared to present their products and solutions.

“With the experience of the last Canton Fair (also held online) in June, we have made better preparations for this fair,” said Shi Wenquan, general manager with a foreign trade company based in North China’s Hebei province.

Focused on making its products and the enterprise better known to clients at the online Canton Fair, the company is taking advantage of livestreaming shows and promotional videos.

“We put a corporate promotion video on the livestreaming page, to allow buyers to learn about the products and our company simultaneously,” Shi said.

Presentation is important, but the product is always the key issue, according to Shi. He added that the company has made innovations in its products’ exterior design, functions and packaging to create a competitive advantage.

Shimge Pump Industry Group based in Wenling, Zhejiang province, also brought its innovative products to the 128th Canton Fair. They include an automatic vertical self-priming pump, a high-efficiency variable-frequency motor, a high-speed well pump and a photovoltaic well pump, according to Luo Yunjun, brand manager of the marketing department at the company.

Each product comes with a virtual-reality presentation video, to ensure that customers have an in-depth experience, according to the company.

The company will also promote each new product with specialized livestreaming promotions. Buyers can interact with the company directly and order online. Its customer service team is providing efficient business services 24 hours a day, Luo added.
