 The 127th session of Canton Fair will be held online. It is an innovation in the exhibition industry and receives attention from home and abroad. Before the opening, social media acts as the main channel of interaction between Canton Fair and its new and old friends. 
Since April 7th, fans have left over 4000 messages on Canton Fair social media pages. These "voices" carry wonderful memory, compliment, sincere suggestion and eager expectation, and also the wish for meeting again at the physical exhibition in the future.
 
Wonderful Memory
"Where it all began. In 2011 a new family was born at Canton Fair. China our second home. Thank you Canton Fair for all the years providing us with good times and good business." says Mr. Rodrigo, a Brazilian fan in his Instagram, who met his wife at Canton Fair in 2011. 
In 2019, they came back with their child—the beginning of a wonderful life.
 
Compliment
Many fans thought that the 127th Canton Fair would be cancelled due to the spread of Covid-19. Mr. Aamir left a message when he got the news that it will be held online: "That's a smart way of handling it in current scenario." Ms. Hania says that it is innovative and Amit Jain wrote: "…because in Corona not able to come so it's very good to visit it online."
There are many similar. Our fans all believe that it is a timely, practical and innovative measure to operate Canton Fair online, which contributes to global economic and trade exchange.
 
Sincere Suggestion
Mr. Uchechukwu, a Nigerian fan says in Facebook, "Let the platform be very flexible. To enable customers place orders with ease."
Fans are excited about the new Canton Fair platform. But they feel they still know little and have some questions about it. Many of them raise their suggestions in the purpose of optimizing the platform to make it user-friendly and convenient to place order and do business.

"Good we can attend online. Wish a grand success.", "Looking forward for this new move", say Mr. Gopal from Nepal and Mr. Ankit from India. Fans pay great attention on the virtual Canton Fair and "Like" the posts on buyer's guidance.
"I am always waiting for the Canton Fair with passion. Every time I come, there are a lot of interesting products that you can deal in." Mr. Boriykhon from Uzbekistan left this message on Facebook page. He is one of the 1.72 million fans growing with Canton Fair. He always keeps an eye on the latest news in Canton Fair social media account. 
Since he first came to the 121st session, he has made business outcome exceeding 10 million RMB. Besides growing his own business, he invites more friends to join the virtual Canton Fair and to share global business opportunity.
 
Future expectation
Many of our old friends attend each session. Mr. Rodrigo from Chile has brought over 5000 buyers to Canton Fair in 9 years. He's glad to continue the trade cooperation with Chinese enterprises "screen to screen", but he looks forward more to meeting with old friends at Canton Fair "face to face". Mr. Zahir Ahmed, though hasn't been to the Fair yet, is eager to attend its physical edition and feel its charm after joining Canton Fair social media.
Old and new fans of Canton Fair are looking forward to the integration of online and physical Fair, which is also what we are working to achieve.
 
With the help of the information technology, the 127th Canton Fair establish new functions such as Live Streaming, Posting Sourcing Request, Smart Recommendation, Instant Messaging and Negotiation Appointment to allow buyers to log in, search exhibits and exhibitors and chat with them easily, thus to meet buyers' expectation.
China Foreign Trade Centre has opened Canton Fair account in eight social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, Instagram, VK, Pinterest and Tiktok, with more 1.72 followers, the largest number among its peer in the industry. 330 articles in 7 languages have been posted, introducing the new function, new highlights and new services of the 127th Canton Fair. More than 1.31 million fans have interacted on these pages.
