The fair will organize 85 leading companies to hold 137 events for launching new products involving electronic appliances, daily consumer goods and costumes.

When the fair’s official website began trial operation on April 6, Sun Xue, operation manager of Hebei United Energy Tech, rehearsed a livestreaming show to prepare for its first live broadcast after the event’s opening. The company is presenting two featured products, its bestselling ceiling materials and advanced glass wool, this time.

Sun has attended the fair online three times and said the event’s organizers have made great efforts to train exhibitors. “The organizers taught us how to skillfully deal with videos and better display our products with technologies such as VR,” Sun said.

Liu Xiaowei, a representative from Shandong Enlaide, said: “The fair’s official website has kept improving its functions and now offers interactive communications and presents 3D visual effects for visitors.”

Liu said the 129th fair hosted online promotional events via mainstream new media to attract more purchasers and offered video presentations in popular and easy-to-understand language to help exhibitors and purchasers use its website.

The innovative measures helped participants overcome trade obstacles caused by the pandemic and allowed global enterprises to better benefit from opportunities of China’s economic development, insiders said.
