Enterprises prepared for another online show

Building on their experiences in the previous two Canton Fair sessions in 2020, which were held online to due to the COVID-19 pandemic, enterprises from China are well-prepared for the current session of the Canton Fair, which is also being held online from April 15-24. 

Before the event begins, the Guangdong delegation arranged trainings for participating enterprises, focusing especially on doing business through livestreaming. 

The Tianjin delegation also held a video conference to inform exhibitors on how to increase their brand influence through online shows. More than 220 companies in Tianjin took part in the conference. 

In Hebei, poverty reduction and rural revitalization are a priority for the provincial delegation. A total of 167 companies from Hebei will exhibit their products and resources in a rural revitalization-themed section at this month’s Fair. 

The Jiangsu delegation helped enterprises become familiar with the functions of online exhibition platforms, especially those for online display, product releases, livestream marketing and online negotiation. 

The Liaoning delegation introduced the Google Ads platform to help enterprises promote their products. 

The Beijing delegation has used such platforms as QQ and WeChat to inform member companies to attend training sessions regularly. 

The Zhejiang delegation and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Machinery and Electronic Products put a special emphasis on the protection of intellectual property rights before the Canton Fair session begins. They also promised to offer legal services for member enterprises throughout the event.
