Hunan firms think innovative to attract orders

To further promote the stable and healthy development of foreign trade under epidemic prevention and control, the ongoing 128th China Import and Export Fair is playing a key role in guiding enterprises to have a better outlook and seize more business opportunities.

Exhibitors from foreign trade enterprises in Hunan have worked hard during the event.

A person in charge of Hunan Hualian Porcelain, which mainly exports ceramic products, said by participating in the Canton Fair, the company has further strengthened its contacts with both new and old customers. 

So far, it has inked orders with 20 customers, with an intended transaction amount reaching $11 million. It is expected that exports for the whole year will grow against the trend.

To support the development of the domestic market for export commodities, the Canton Fair has increased the number of domestic purchasers. 

Hunan Xianfeng Ceramic Industry is using the Canton Fair as a vital platform to improve domestic sales. And its domestic market share has increased to 20 percent.

Innovation has always been an important means for Canton Fair exhibitors to attract buyers and grab orders.

 At this year’s event, Hunan exhibitors attracted buyers through various displays and transactions. Many companies put their products online and showcased their entire production process via video and live broadcast, with a shift from “low price” to “high-end, personalized, customized” quality.

Hunan Huasheng Group, which is mainly engaged in the garment export business, has reached intended trade value of $3.1 million.
