Participants at the 127th Canton Fair are taking multiple measures to guarantee the protection of intellectual property rights.

During the fair, the Zhejiang trade group received information about an infringement from Yongkang Aining Electric Appliance and promptly launched a complaint against the infringers.

Before the fair, the Zhejiang trade group established a working group to deal with IP protection. They appointed IP experts to provide services during the whole session.

Upon receiving the complaint, the working group immediately launched action to maintain order and safeguard the rights and interests of their enterprises.

In response to the fair being held online, the Zhejiang trade group has established a communication mechanism between enterprises, the trading group and the fair organizers.

They initiated an IP training program with over 1,000 enterprises taking part, and taught them about the correct complaint process.

They also focused on online inspection during the online exhibition, maintaining participants' legitimate rights and interests, and establishing an information channel to inform enterprises of the fair's IP policies.

The Guangdong trade group has also made great efforts in IP protection, including informing exhibitors of the complaint handling process, the fair's regulations and solving trade disputes. The Liaoning trade group used its WeChat account to remind enterprises to be aware of IP protection.
