Welcome to the website of China Foreign Trade Centre (“CFTC”).
CFTC is an institutional unit directly led by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. CFTC is a professional Exhibition sponsor with rich experience, and its Exhibition history could be traced back to 1957, the starting year of China’s Exhibition industry. In that year, the First session of China Import and Export Fair (also called the Canton Fair) was held, and the Exhibition Hall of Canton Fair, the predecessor of CFTC, was founded. Since 1957, the economic status of China and the world has witnessed amazing changes, while CFTC has always been dedicated to the accumulation of Exhibition experience, research of Exhibition market and exploration of industrial development rules, and applying its results to the continuous improvement of customer service and project exploration.

The persistent efforts of CFTC enable it to play an important role of bridge in China’s economic development and foreign trade. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, with great support from various fields, now Canton Fair has become a comprehensive international trade event, topping China in terms of scale, visitors, results and level. The total transaction volume achieved at two sessions of Canton Fair each year accounts for one fourth of China’s total annual export value of general merchandize in China, earning Canton Fair the fame of “China’s No.1 Fair” being in company with other international exhibitions and world famous fairs. Over ten Exhibition projects fostered by CFTC, including Guangzhou International Furniture Expo, China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition, International Plastic and Rubber Fair, International Architecture and Decoration Expo, China (Guangzhou) Water Exhibition, and South China International Printing Exhibition, have become important professional platforms for international communication and barometers of various industries. With the largest scale in Asia, appropriate design and ever-perfecting supporting facilities, the Canton Fair (Pazhou) Complex and Canton Fair (Liuhua) Complex operated by CFTC is attracting more and more domestic and overseas Exhibition organizations.
